We continue to be amazed and inspired by the dedication and fortitude shown by our nursing, care and support staff; both those at the front line in hospitals and those continuing to support people with special needs, the elderly, chronically ill and infirm.

We recognised that these challenges are ever-changing and we want you to know from all the team here, first and foremost, that we are hugely grateful for all that you do. We are hearing from many of you that you are juggling complex family and work responsibilities alongside your own wellbeing. The health community has once again shown it’s exceptional dedication and we want you to know that the team here have got your back.

Recent weeks have tested our ability as a nation to respond to this health emergency and look after the most vulnerable people in our society. There have been times where we have all felt upset, exhausted or worried; many of us have felt our physical and mental health being tested to the limit. We also know that you are the ultimate calm and pragmatic professionals in a crisis and that your skills and compassion will be vital in turning the tide on Covid19. We will be doing everything we possibly can to support you. Our Assistance Programme is available for everyone registered with Firstpoint and Servoca and you should have received an email about the support services they provide from our HR team. If not, please let us know.

All of our branches continue to operate as normal, we have moved our training online and we are redoubling our efforts to increase our nursing and care workforce. We anticipate that we will need to continue adapting how we operate over the coming weeks and month. We continue to review all of our operational processes to ensure that we provide the best service we can to you. Servoca Nursing and Care have a dedicated Recruitment team to take you through the registration process quickly and efficiently as possible. There are three easy steps to follow:

Step 1 Application Pack
step Your application pack consists of an application form and a relevant skills checklist.

Complete and return the forms providing your full work history or an up-to-date CV as soon as possible.

Step 2 Interview
step tow An interview with the branch of your choice will be arranged and will be conducted by one of our specialist, qualified interviewers.

To meet contractual and legal obligations you will need to provide specific documents and information. A full list will be provided to you once your interview has been arranged. Please note, we are required to see original documentation.

Important: Please note that we will not be able to carry out the interview if you fail to bring Proof of Eligibility to work in the UK (e.g: British/EU passport, non-EU passport with visa status, please view a list of appropriate documentation on the UKBA website).

Step 3 Pre-Registration Checks
step three If you are successful at interview we will begin all the essential pre-registration checks. Once completed, you will receive confirmation of your registration and a welcome pack.

Important: The pre-registration checks can take up to six weeks to complete. We try to collate the information as quickly as possible and appreciate any help you can give us in achieving this.

It will be necessary for you to obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) at the cost of £50.00 to an Enhanced level, and including the barred list check as appropriate. Having a criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from registering with us and you are encouraged to disclose any convictions you may have at an early stage.


Servoca Nursing and Care provide a training course prior to you commencing work which includes: Moving and handling, BLS and Basic First aid (theory and Practical) and Infection control.

Once your registration is complete you will be introduced to your consultant who will be responsible for placing and matching you with suitable clients. You will also receive ongoing support in the form of annual appraisals and regular feedback received from clients you have worked with.
